Cambridgeshire navigating dementia event a success

Future events are already in the planning stages

Downing Place United Reformed Church and Cherry Hinton Care Home, part of the TLC Group, hosted Cambridgeshire’s first navigating dementia event.  It provided essential information and support to over 60 Cambridgeshire residents who are affected by dementia in some way.

The event offered a supportive space for individuals, caregivers, and families to access crucial resources and expert advice on dementia care.

Attendees benefited from informative sessions, interactive workshops, and one-on-one consultations, equipping them with practical tools for managing dementia.

“The strong community response highlights the ongoing need for such resources and support,” said a spokesperson for Scott TLC CARE.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and the impact this event had on our community. We look forward to future initiatives to support those affected by dementia.”
