Animal rights protestors claimed today to have found ‘a pretty ramshackle lock up’ in the Northamptonshire countryside where vans are stored to carry puppies from MBR Acres in Cambridgeshire. The protest is led by Free the MBR Beagles, which describes itself as a “grassroots animal rights campaign primarily focused on the grubby vivisection industry”.

It supporters have been joined by police at the depot near Kettering where the group says the logistics group Impex Services houses the vans.

The protest is led by Free the MBR Eagles, which describes itself as a “grassroots animal rights campaign primarily focused on the grubby vivisection industry”.

“Impex Services International has a specially designed fleet of vehicles to transport non-human animals, their blood and body parts to laboratories,” says a campaign spokesperson.

“You’ve witnessed their vans full of crying puppies leaving MBR Acres in Cambridgeshire and then arriving at labs in Huntingdon, Harrogate, Ledbury and Tranent.

“These vans may be on the road for hours before finally returning to their secret depot…and that’s where your spotting skills are absolutely vital!

“Let us know when and where you see them.”

A social media post described how “right now activists are at the Impex premises, near Kettering, where the infamous courier company has been hiding out in a pretty ramshackle lock up!

“It was only a matter of time before they were spotted.

“Come on down.”
