There’ll be a backdrop of craft stalls, community groups including Fenland Families and Baby Bank, Wisbech Community Farm, La Leche League, The Wild Hub Norfolk, Fenland Family History and Wisbech Shedders and Fixers, bookstalls, and refreshments.

Sue Dockett, from Wisbech, March and District Trades Council which sponsors the event, said: “Every year, more and more groups are joining in to create a bigger and brighter celebration of women who are making life better for themselves, other women, and the community.

“Everyone’s welcome to share this event with community groups who are working together to empower women and girls and promote inclusion.”

Anyone shopping in Wisbech Tesco the day before on Friday, March 8, is invited to stop at the trades council stall in the foyer to write a postcard message of support for International Women’s Day.
